Report from the Social Affairs Committee to the Islamic Consultative Assembly

This Committee has the primary responsibility of reviewing the proposed plan for monitoring the

establishment and activities of grassroots organizations also known as Non Governmental Organizations

(“ NGO”).  This plan is given the print number 513.  This committee held several meetings with experts

and government officers.  The plan was discussed and approved subject to several modifications.  A

copy of the approved plan is attached. 

This report is prepared in compliance with Section 144 of the Assembly Code and is hereby submitted

for review by the Islamic Consultative Assembly.
